I mapped my DDJ-SX3 pads to the Vocal/Melody/Bass/Drums stems on the screen. Problem is that once I press a pad the first time, it stays on. For instance, when I press the Vocal pad on the controller, the Vocal button on the screen turns off. However, the pad remains lit. The pad lights remaining lit makes it extremely difficult to use Stems in a live environment.
Is there a way to have the lights coincide with what's happening on the laptop screen?
Instead of changing the MIDI mapping, go into the preferences and swap one of the pad modes (there are 2 to choose from) and it will properly illuminate the pads for the stem and stem FX.
