DDJ FLX 10 showing No Audio Driver on Mac

  • FLX 10
  • Updated firmware to 1.11
  • 2023 Macbook Pro
  • M2 Pro
  • Downloaded driver for mac 1.0.0 from pioneer dj
  • Installed it 

 

Result - No Audio Driver

 

  1. Downloaded it again
  2. Restarted Mac
  3. Restarted FLX10
  4. Tried the driver bundled with Rekordbox 6.7

 

No luck

Further exploration - no audio driver goes away if i start the flx10 utility. but once i close and restart computer the no audio driver shows up again.

What version of Ventura are you using?  The newer gear needs13.3.

i was on 13.2.

updating to 13.3 now

  1. I updated to 13.3 Ventura
  2. Uninstalled the utility
  3. Reinstalled the utility
  4. Power cycled FLX10
  5. Restarted Mac

 

The issue still persists - No Audio Driver

Magically, the display is no longer showing the "no audio driver"

May be related to me changing usb accessory connection settings from always to ask for new devices.
