DDJ 1000 (rekordbox) not turning on

Whenever I try to turn on my DDJ 1000 the clip light flashes red and will not turn on. I have tried turning it on while holding down the slip reverse and 4-beat loop/ exit buttons and it still won't turn on. Any help?
