Rekordbox Mobile + Tidal playlists

Hello.

Long time DJ and Rekordbox user, but have only just downloaded and installed Rekordbox Mobile on my iPad. I’m logged in to Tidal. I can search for a track in Tidal (ie: the entirety of Tidal, not just in my collection) but my playlists are not being displayed at all. Also, the “create playlist” button is greyed out when I’m in the Tidal Playlists section. So the connection to Tidal is all good, I just can’t see any of my playlists.

This all works as expected on Rekordbox on my laptop (and indeed on my Denon Prime 2).

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks

What iOS version is installed on the iPad?

Where did you create the playlist? Is it in TIDAL app, TIDAL website, or another app like Spotify?

If it's another app or a service, please tell us the name of it.

If you used a migration app to transfer the playlist, please tell us the name of that app too.

Good afternoon. This also happens on Rekordbox on my iPhone (both devices are iOS 16.3.1).

The playlists are a mixture - some created on the Tidal iOS app, some on the Tidal web app, some have been sync'd from Spotify using Soundiiz.

Interestingly, almost everything is blank under the Tidal "My Collection" section in Rekordbox (Tracks, Playlists, Albums) - but "Artists" will bring up a list of artists who feature in my playlists, and "My mix" will create a number of "My mix" playlists, based on tracks in my main Tidal playlists - so something is working, just not my actual playlists.

Every other app I have available displays my Tidal playlists correctly - Rekordbox on my PC and Mac, Algoriddim DJ on my phone/iPad, Prime DJ on my Denon Prime 2 and PC.

Also, I have updated to iOS 16.5.1 on both devices, still exactly the same results. I have also ensured that Rekordbox is the latest version.

I have the same problem.  Rekordbox iOS is a junk.. It only has very small portion of what Rekordbox on Mac can do..

I was hoping to DJ with iPad, but you really need a Mac/PC..

The fix I found for this - I created a playlist on the Tidal app on my phone, added one track to it, and now all my Tidal playlists are visible in Rekordbox Mobile. I guess creating that playlist reset some sort of missing flag that determines if playlists are visible in Rekordbox Mobile or not. Flag is created when a new playlist is created via the Tidal app, all the playlists then appear in Rekordbox Mobile.

Incidentally, I tried creating a new Tidal playlist using the web version of Tidal, this didn't fix the problem. It was only when I used the Tidal app on my phone to create a new playlist that all my playlists then appeared.
