its been requested for the 2000 too, the sales were to bad enough to justify development and production i think..on the 2000 that is..
Why no rotary option? How many were sold? The 800 was the only real rotary midi mixer on the market, a great USP. So now I'll have to buy an outdated mixer if I want this feature. What a nightmare.
Is it definitely not coming / unlikely to come?

Is it likely to appear on either or is it just a pipedream really/
Sorry guys, there were too few units sold for the 800 / 1000 that they opted not to incur the engineering, manufacturing and distribution costs for it. There are no plans for rotary kits for any current mixer.
@Pulse: I guess that means there was too few 800/1000 *rotary* DJM units sold.. I think the normal DJM-800 has been pretty successful? :)
Yes, was referring to rotary kits, not the mixers themselves.
Well, and to top it of, let's be honest, the rotary kits are quite expensive -.-
I know quality is top notch, and I'm quite happy with mine, but yeah, at least around here, they're quire expensive (more than some hdj2000 for example)
I know I had the choice between the up-faders or the rotaries for the same price when I bought my 800. But, unfortunately, demand wasn't so high for this optional upgrade.
If there was a seperate SKU for a 900 with rotaries (pre installed), and if it was the same exact price then im sure it would sell a little better... The one thing holding me back from getting a DJM-900 at the moment is the lack of said rotary kit... but Xone 92 i guess it is...
same here luis, Looking to upgrade too from the 800, the rotary kit not being an option stopped me from looking at the Pio mixers
