Djm 900 Nexus + 2 Cdj 2000 and Tracktor Kontrol X1

Fairly straight forward to setup and I am sure google might even find you a setup guide in a bit more detail. Before you begin make sure you have the latest Nexus Setup Utility installed, plug in your usb to mixer to computer. 

I have my my CDJ's on channels 2/3 and traktor providing audio on channels 1/4, but you can set your decks on any channels you want.

Once you have decided which channels you want to reserve for you CDJ's. Fire up Traktor, in the setup wizard, select external controller X1, external mixer Nexus and let it complete the wizard.

Once it finishes open up your preferences pane in Traktor. Click on output routing tab and select what channels you want your A,B,C or D on the Nexus to go 0,1 for L/R Channel 1  or 6,7 for L/R Channel 4 etc...

Once the above is configured, select USB as your input on the nexus for the channels you have assigned Traktor to and you should be up and running.

thank you for your reply. but i still cant make the setup. can you tell me step by step. should i use 1 usb between djm  and pc and pro link between djms and cdj  or 3 usb3 betwwen djm and pc and cdjs and pc. after that what should i do in tracktor. i really need help 

when i use 3 usb's the sound come out from pc not djm

1x usb from nexus back to the pc/laptop. 1x usb for X1.

Link CDJ's, DJM & Computer via a ethernet hub if you wish to use Pro DJ Link to either send tracks direct to CDJ's or DJM to cue in headphones.

Decide which channels on the nexus you want to use solely for the cdj's (I have mine on channels 2 and 3), but use what ever works for you. The input selector on these 2 channels should be set to Digital or CD/Line (Depending on how you have connected the CDJ's to the mixer)

Whatever the other 2 channels are that you have spare, set to USB (these channels will now be for Traktor audio inputs)

Once you have done the above you then need to configure/set up in Traktor. To assign Traktors A,B,C or D deck to either of the USB inputs of the mixer. you need to do the following. Click Traktor preferences pane, Check Audio Setup tab (Audio device should read DJM-900nexus?). Then click the next tab down, Output Routing. The top section of this page should say Mixing Mode, click on the External tab within this page. You can now select the output for decks ABCD.

I have mine set as follows:

Deck A - L1: DJM-900nexus Out 0 R2:DJM900nexus Out 1 - This goes to channel 1 on the DJM

Deck B - L7: DJM-900nexus Out 6 R8:DJM900nexus Out 7 - This goes to channel 4 on the DJM

Sorry I misunderstood your intentions. You want to control Traktor using CDJ's?

I haven't managed to figure this one as yet myself. Maybe someone else one the forums can assist you with setting this up.

I use the X1 to control Traktor's transport controls as additional inputs to my 2 channels from the CDJ's Making 4 audio sources.
