DJM 350 fx (hardware) REPAIR

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I really don't know if this is the right forum, topic,... to place this article but i did it :)

I have a problem with my DJM350, at my DJ booth, i was handeling my TV remote that i was holding with one hand, DJing with the other ;D

and i felt (not that hard) onto the fx panel of my mixer. Now i see the 'crush' button is a little bit pushed into the electronicboard.

Is there a way that i can repair this by myself?

BTW, all the fuctions are still working.

Thx!

Danil

UPDATE :

after rotating the button several times, it's getting loose...

My fx are on even if the button is placed in the middle position so i conclude that the rotary swith is broken :(

Is there a chance a get any waranty?

@Danil > Pioneer products normally come with a one-year warranty but I can't figure out exactly what message you are trying to get across - did you drop something on the mixer?

@Danil > You will need to bring the unit to an authorised service centre for repair - technical support links are on the right of this page. This would not be covered under warranty so you will have to pay for the repairs.

Thx ! I thought so, it's my fault that it's broken ;D

Can i just bring it to my local dealer or do i need to send the unit?

Give your local dealer a call first before you bring it in just to be sure but they should be able to sort the problem out for you (by repairing it themselves or sending it out to a repair centre).

Purchased a DJM 350 from B &H ,New York (online). I am in India. The instrument is not functioning. How can I get it repaired. It is within the warranty period.

@Himadri > Unfortunately products purchased in the USA only have valid warranties when sent for service within the USA. You'd have to contact the technical support for the USA and arrange a warranty return for repair. You'd have to pay the shipping both ways as Pioneer would only typically cover domestic shipping, not international.

What may be cheaper is to contact Pioneer India and have them service it there rather than sending it over-seas. Tech support contacts are located to the right.
