can someone please call me on 07863229383 to sort this problem out please...asap as need to sort this out
could a mic lead do this to the mixer and if so why?????.....i've taken out the mic lead and now it seems to work without going into sleep mode
still no reply....my mic is not plugged in no more and just switched it on and its doing it again...could someone please help me here????
what if you just turn of auto standby in the menu?
if it will stay on long enough for me to do that
it's in the club setting, that usually is an area pre mixer "boot up" so you should be fine to make that change
soon as i power up the mixer...it goes into sleep mode allowing me to do nothing.....
im not home to check but look in the manual, to get into the club setting you usually have to shut off the mixer and then hold down a button on the mixer while it powers up, it then goes into a pre boot hidden setting menu
thankyou...i will check now
it still cuts out when trying to enter the club settings.....
its so frustrating that it won't stay on for me to change settings....
do i need to take the mixer back to pioneer for them to see whats wrong with it and if so who or where do i call....?
i changed it and its still not working and switching off......frustrating
ugh, have you tried flashing/updating the FW, theres a new one out
do you by chance have the url as not sure i'm finding the right on...And do you know if the firware on the djm2000 works ok with recordbox 1.5.4 ok?
sure, they release Ver.3.19 on may 30, link is here: http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?c=686&lang=en&p=DJM-2000&t=110
can't see why it wouldn't work with RB 1.5.4, The new RB 2.0.7 was released yesterday also, may want to upgrade both the mixer and the software
can't do the software as it won't work on my laptop for R/B as i think my laptop is a bit old now to handle R/B
i'm starting to think it might be a power supply issue rather a software problem as the reason it would power down so quickly ...what you think???
absolutely, if you cant get it to even power on, most likely thats what it is or a faulty board causing the mixer to immediately go into a protect state
it does power up, but only for about 10 seconds
Definitely call it in, maybe theres a local authorized repair place by you too. The number is at the top right of the page
I had an issue where my DJM-2000 wouldn't boot up as well. It was definitely a Power supply issue. I sent the unit to their HQ in California and they fixed it under my warranty. Much quicker than anticipated too.
yep...doing the same and switching off into sleep mode.....must be internal not software, but thankyou for your help...
