DJM 900 Nexus - Hooking in MIDI

Hi all, I'm looking to hook in a Roland TB3 to my 900 Nexus, for samples and effects. Can this be done by going into the midi and then into a spare channel on the pioneer? 

 

Is it possible for the TB3 to be in sync with the BPM on the 900?

Yes; the MIDI out from the mixer goes to the MIDI in on the TB3. You would then run the audio output from the TB3 to a free channel on the mixer.
