Timezone in new forum profile uneditble

Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum for this (there is no "forum feedback" subforum like many sites have).  In our profile settings, there is a field for our timezone.  However, this field is grayed out and uneditible.  Thus, the forum will not show post times in my local timezone, only GMT-8 (Pacific Time).

Can someone look into this, please?

@CAW > Unfortunately individual timezones are not supported by this system, only the "home timezone" of the server.

not really liking how ya cant change it.. it should at least be set to gmt 0 so we can work out what the times should be where we are

Are times really that important? I've never once looked at the time on either Eve or the (current) Zendesk system.
