Master trick with rmx1000 on djm mixer?

Hi,

I think I remember seeing that there was some trick to getting the rmx1000 to output to a djm mixer without engaging send/return.  I could be mistaken but I thought that by setting the djm fx channel selector to master or A/B, you could basically get the rmx1000 to output sound to the master without having your djm fx selection set to S/R thus allowing you to use the djm fx such as roll..

Anybody have any idea what im talking about or did i make this up in my mind?

On my 700 the selection goes A, B, MASTER. The S/R is on the fx control. The only way to engage both the DJM FX and RMX would be to connect the RMX to the master instead of the S/R

The DJM 2000 has the ability to send all the time the signal without having Send/Return activated / chosen.

Then you can connect the output from the RMX-1000 to an Input of your DJM. Then you fade between the Music with the RMX and without. Also you can use the DJM Effects at the same time.

But be careful as Pulse already said, if you push your effects through the Master, it's possible to create a feedback loop within your DJM which will blow your Stuff away.

@Kevin > I'm pretty sure I said that in either a post or a video on the RMX, but I don't recall exactly what I said or where that was!
