[SOLVED] RMX-1000 and a Denon DN-X1100

Hey guys,

Strange thing here, when using the RMX-1000 on a Denon DN-X1100  through send/return I can hear the effects working when cueing the effects on the mixer, but it seems not possible to get an output to the speakers. Sound remains unaffected by the RMX-1000. I have tried (almost) every setting like post/pre, everey channel but the effect indicator on the DN-X1100 keeps blinking. The manual says that when the light is blinking that there is no effect that can be controlled. What am I missing here?

Not familiar with the Denon mixer, but if you have it properly connected the only thing to do is to activate the fx via the "on/off" button. On the DJM series the knob has to be in the middle (12 o'clock) and also make sure your levels are set to about 12:30 on the RMX (both input & output) otherwise shoot a video, maybe we can help you out.

I have connected it the same way as i would when using my own DJM-2000. The Denon mixer is at another venue, but i can hear the effects being cue'ed through the Denon mixer. So the connections are correct. Strange thing is that it doesn't send the affected sound to the speakers, even when chaning the post/pre and dry/wet settings on the Denon. So i assume it must be a problem/setting that i am missing on the Denon. Would love to hassle the Denon forum but i can't register at all, which sucks big time ;-)

@Devotion > Different manufacturers handle the Send / Return feature differently so its possible this might be the case.

Did you ever find a solution to this?  I have the exact same issue.

Quickly solved this issue myself.  The Denon doesn't like TRS jack cables, stick with standard jacks.
