So ok I've got a ddj-s1 love it to bit's been smashing cool mixes out which can't complain about so as you do you get a bit board so a bought the rmx-1000 as a add on for some extra samples and effects got it all rigged up nice loving what I can do with it while in the mix but when I've come to record on to serato itch software that comes with the S1 it doesn't record the samples or effects on play back?can any one help or will this never happen and have a just wasted £520 on a toy please can someone help as i love the rmx but if I can't record with it feel like I've been taken down the garden path as I was told it would record.if any one can give me any input on what to do I would be very grateful many thanks

@DJ EFX > The problem is the S1 doesn't have a send / return facility. So when you record your mix in Serato Itch it is ONLY recording what you are doing in Serato Itch. Using the RMX to effect the audio is a post Serato. If you wish to record, you'll need to record from the RMX output (as I'm assuming you have it setup DDJ-S1 -> RMX -> Speakers).
