Random question regarding the RMX VST application.

While I know you don't physically need the RMX 1000 to use it as a VST or AU with your DAW as you can just click and drag whatever parameters on the screen - does anyone know if the plugin can be MIDI mapped to any MIDY controller?  I ask because if possible, I was going to create a custom assigned MIDI map setting in Ableton so it works with a Livid OhmRGB.. That was I don't have to unhook the RMX 1000 from the back of my mixer, drag the power outlet to my desk, etc when I just want to do some basic automation.  Has anyone tried or had any luck with this?  Any and all help is appreciated.  Thanks!
