S’abonner[CLOSED] Why is RMX 1000 not rekordbox grid quantised??
For the best part it does pick up the correct BPM, however the odd time it takes too long to properly detect it is a pain in the...
It always seems to happen at the crucial point! It's not all the time but it just seems silly that it can't get it bang on off the already analysed RB grid when the whole Pioneer dj link is in place.
Any ways the Q is why did it not have the ethernet port to connect to the network added? It seems its out of place and "old" compared to the rest of my pro dj linked 2000 nexus kit.
I still love the wee box of tricks but I'm just confused why it can't be connected to read the RB grid...

Thank you :) Yeah I think your right, the fact it's called RMX 1000 is a give away.
They probably started development when it was the 1000 line that rocked the show.
I can't wait to see a what a rmx 2000 will bring to the table. I love my RMX 1000 but I would upgrade it in a heart beat if it was pro link compatable.
The technology to network this kind of kit exists in the form of the EFX from the djm 2000 being quantised so it's a givin this will happen with a new rmx/EFX standalone unit soon.
*off topic but the forum doesn't let me space out my paragraphs when posting from iPad. Please excuse the long post above, :)
The quantized effects are the future so it will be a big USP..so lets wait for RMX 2000 or more possible i think the RMX 1000 nexus with eq nobs like in djm2000nexus and Ethernet port for link;) thats my type;)
The reason is the cost would have been prohibitive to add it and the BPM detection engine is far superior to that of the DJM, so the engineers decided not to add the cost and keep it as flexible as possible, especially when used with non-rekordbox material / hardware.
