Pioneer CDJ 800 MK1 No Power/Dead???

I recently had sold my CDJ 800 online and shipped it. When the buyer received it, he claimed that it wasn't powering on, so he had to return it back to me. Now I'm stuck with this brick that doesn't do anything. I have checked the fuse, and its not blown, it looks okay. I have no idea what else could prevent it from turning on, or how it got into this state in the first place. Help would be very much appreciated!

@DeeJay Tev > Did you sell it to someone in a country whose voltage is different than yours?  It could be the circuitry was damaged even though the fuse was blown.

The other thing to check is that the serial number of the unit you received back is the same as the one you sold; I heard of a case where a user bought a CDJ from a guy on Craigslist, then told the seller the unit wasn't working, swapped his dead unit with the one he bought and gave the dead one back to the seller.

I just got a brand new fuse in the mail today, I replaced the new one with the one that was already in the CDJ. Still nothing. Its the same CDJ that I sent out, he did not swap it, yet I am beginning to think it has been tampered with because I haven't heard of a case where there is only internal damage, and no external damage to an electronics item during shipping. Doesn't make sense. Now what???

You've got two options ... 1) repair it yourself (or via Pioneer service centers) , 2) seek damages from the buyer.

--EDIT-- Sorry @Jon, you're not a Pioneer technical support agent and as such, you are not qualified to provide repair or modification instructions as per the forums terms-of-service. Thanks. --EDIT--

Ok i just found a laser that actually worked for my CDJ-800. And well it worked for about an hour or two. I turned it off and came back to it later and it won't turn on. At first just the screen wouldn't come on but everything else worked. So I thought the 1.6a/125v fuse that was blown and switched it out with the one from the one CDJ that worked and now it won't turn on. Anyone know whats wrong with it?

@Blaine > It sounds like there could be multiple issues if everything was working at first, then only some parts were working, now nothing is working. Your best bet would probably be to contact Technical Support for your region. Links are on the right side of this page.

@Blaine > When you call, you can ask for the closest authorized Pioneer repair centre and take/ship your CDJ there. They should be able to diagnose the issue and replace the needed parts.
