You certainly could; it's just a matter of mapping it out.
Hi,
My MEP-7000 is a great player with awesome features ,even with all these new controllers that our out today. however some have received my attention and would like to keep my Mep, so my question is can I Map out Djay with my Mep? Like ERGO now works with. DJS that came with was good at the time but I am looking for something to integrate with Itunes too.
Thanks

Thanks I will start working on the mapping. Any tips? I must say you really have your finger on the......fill the blank haha .
I recently mapped out the DDJ-T1 controller for djay and my suggestion is to first figure out what physical buttons you want to use and for which software commands. There are the obvious play and cue, but you have options for some of the others. Just get in there and dabble - you'll see how quickly you get things setup.
Question from previousl email. Hello pulse, Wow I never really understood how long mapping can take. I started but ran into some issue's. I was wondering is this a common problem for some features not to work with a software? I cannot get the pause/play to work as well as the fader. In the meantime I will be working on it. Any advice?
Thanks

The controls should certainly work - you may simply have the wrong command mapped to the button.
