T1 free Update Traktor 2, T1 not controlling the software:<

I update my traktor 1 to traktor 2 (Pioneer Edition). Had a bit playing that was fine. The second day I just played with traktor 2 without T1, with my old sound card YAMAHA UW500. then I pluged the T1 on later at night, T1 didn’t seem like controlling the mixer part of the Traktor at all. The control lights is on when I play around the knobs and faders, if I use mouse to drug the music to each deck, and I press Play on the pioneer, it still plays, but music from speaker was loud and uncontrollable. I switched it to the Traktor 1 which coming with the T1 box, everything was working perfectly. I am using a Mac desk top, a Mac os 10 or higher version. When I am using laptop (Mac OS 10.6.8), Both Traktor 1 & 2 are working.

Any one can help please?

This is going to sound stupid, but did you exit the program before you plugged the T1 in to operate the software? Or did you just unplug your Yamaha sound card, then plug the T1 back in.

When I use T1, Yamaha is not connected, I turned the T1 on, then open Traktor,make sure software recognize hard ware. Doing the samething on Traktor 1, it's working fine.

Hello I'm new here and I am looking around here to do some research for my decision for buying the T1 or S1. Anyway what I have found out is that Traktor 1 or 2 only work with Mac OS 10.5 or higher.

@Leonski > Correct, and if you're using 10.5 or lower, chances are your computer hardware specs may not meet the minimum requirements for the software either.

Sorry, I was just try to explain that my OS 10.6.6 is higher the the system requirement. problem is the post I put on top, that my Traktor 2 is not controlling the software, but traktor 1 which come with the T-1 is working fine. because I installed the software on my lap top first, then upgrade on IN website,the I installed to my Mac desk top, lap top is working fine, I have no idea what is going wrong. On the mac desk top, when I touch the knobs, the control lights is flashing. I can drag the music file to the decks,( use mouse),I can press play to play the music, but can't control the volume.

another little question, How can I set the play back time to forward instead of counting down?
