Hi there fellow dj's
I am fairly new & just wanted to give my advice in regards to Windows OS Users. i am currently using the following laptop:
Lenovo G560
2.53ghz Core i3
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
8GB Ram
500 GB WD HDD
Since i got my Pioneer DDJ-T1 Controller in march, i have managed to pick up quite a few problems; till sometime July, i have found my solution to all my CPU Spikes, Audio Dropouts & crashes. the program i am using is called "Game Booster" found on the follwing site
www.iobit.com/ & i honestly must admit, i have forgotten about the program, as i have been using it previously, WAY before thinking about Digital DJ.
i trust & hope that this program does help those who are experiencing such problems. i have been on the forums, download youtube videos on How To Optimize Your Laptop For Digital DJ, Etc........ & Game Booster was the answer to my problems.
I can now easily switch between playing hip-hop(2 decks) running effects & recoding as well as switching to 4 decks for House.
It's an easy to use program & i am monitoring how many services is being used when not using Game Booster. Currently 20 processors are being stopped when using game booster & my CPU is quite stable; running between 1/4 & 1/2 while performing in club.
Take care & hope to get feedback for you. Peace DJ Willy''D''

@Pulse - All the above is done. i still had problems with CPU Spikes, Audio Dropouts & even sometimes crashes. Now that i am using that, i have no problems at all. my CPU is quite stable, no crackling noises, i'm running the settings at 128k/bits & 3 kernals. so far my performance has been excellent & till this day, no problems. I can easily play 3-4 tracks at the same time, with my key lock on, have effects / filter running & record my sets at the same time. i just expressed that if there are any users who have problems such as i had, that would be an optional program to use & it's a light program that's not heavy on resources at all. once done with sets, you can easily switch back from the game mode to normal mode & your done. it's fairly easy-to-use & i'd recommend using it, unless you are running an i5 or i7 machine, but other than that, it's working for me.
Thanx for the feedback.
