Problem With Pioneer Authorize Dealer

Good day all,

I would like to get some advice with the captioned subject. First of all i'm from the Caribbean and my cousin who resides with me purchased the pioneer ddj-s1 about 6 weeks ago from an online authorize pioneer dealer. I don't want to call their name until i get feedback stating its ok to post the dealer name on this forums. What i can say is they are located in Chicago. On the 19th Sept 2011, an order was made for the DDJ-S1 and on that night the funds was pulled from my cousins credit card and he got an verification email with order number. About 2 weeks after the purchase he didn't get any email stating that the product was shipped, so he decided to email the company and right after the email was sent, he got a call from them stating that they DON't accept international credit cards. So the company emailed him a credit card release form in which he fulled out and reply to them. To this day, we never got any correspondence via email or phone with respect to the purchased made. We eventually called the company and they had us on hold for 30min, remember i'm from outside the US, they never got back to us, so we called the next day in which the call Representative said "we have your records and my manager is not in office and we would call you back" they never did. The next day we called again and its the same story, we would call you back. Its going on 2 months now and i don't have any DJ controller to use. Can you all please advise me on this matter? My cousin has all the emails from the company, his credit card statements, etc. Its either i get back my funds or they ship what he paid for because its not fair that they pulled the funds from my cousin account and we have nothing. We have been doing our research and decided to go with the Pioneer DDJ-S1 and its not in our possession. I hope you all understand my concern. Awaiting your comments.

Regards

Chinee

I would suggest you contact your credit card company and institute a "charge back" claim for items not received.

Google "Credit Card Charge Back."

Good Luck

Hi Greg, thanks for your advice. I called the company and they informed me that they processed the order and it should take 5 business days to ship. This info was also relayed in an email shortly after i spoke to a representive. I would wait till i get an update on the product and let you know if it was received. Thanks for your support.

Pleasant evening all,

Pulse, today marks 1 week since the email was sent from the dealer stating that I would receive my tracking number in which I haven’t. It is also more than one month since the order was placed. My cousin has all the emails received from the dealer. Since the purchase date, both my cousin and I lost out on 3 gigs (2 weddings and 1 birthday party) because we sold our old media controller for one of pioneer’s. Christmas is right around the corner and we have to play at companies staff Christmas functions and we really need to get the product that we paid for. The dealer would never compensate us for our loses. I would be most great full for your assistance in this matter.

Regards

Ronnie.

I live in Chicago....I'd love to know the name of the place if only so I can avoid doing business with them.  If this is how they handle themselves, then I want nothing to do with them.
