DDJ T1 backspinning

I currently have a Kontrol S4 and am contemplating selling it for a DDJ T1. The main reason i am looking to sell is the lack of the ability to backspin on the S4. Because they're magnetic, they dont carry momentum very well and basically stop abruptly..

Can anyone who owns a DDJ T1 comment on how good of a vinyl immitation the platters are? Or could anyone recommend a different mixer that does of good job?

I'm definitely wating to stick with Traktor Pro 2 and plan on upgrading to the full version.

It all depends on how much backspin you're looking for -- it's not like a really heavy 12" with a loose spindle hole, but it does a decent job.  Your best bet would be to try and get your hands on one.

I have used it, but not enough to recall exactly how freely the jogs rotate in comparison to the T1, sorry.  Many DJs prefer the layout and size of the jog on the DDJ-T1 as compared to the S4, but if any of them catch this thread, I'll let them chime in.
