Me too. I came here for same reason. Bought DDJ SR. I've done everything. The unit responds with Serato DJ on screen. NO SOUND.

@photom2 > Have you verified that your gain stages are all up?

1) Play a track in Serato DJ on the deck 1

2) Flip the "LEVEL" switch to CH1/2 - you should see signal on the channel meter

3) Take the channel fader to the top, cross fader to the left

4) Flip the "LEVEL" switch to MASTER

5) Adjust the MASTER LEVEL knob to show signal on the meters

6) Check your output device (speakers, etc).

Thank you Pulse it works now firmware was the problem needed update. Hi ! photom2 ! i did get it to work first make sure your DDJ-SR firmware is update (v.1.07) then turn on the FX channel or all of them also you can turn on the tap with beats above jog wheel to, Note you must have the pad plus turned on then you should be all set, This video from youtube will help it helped me out big time. Also, you say,  "have I checked the 'Output and Speakers"  I know it is strange but I don't have speakers. Do you have to have these plugged in for the sound to work? I have been using only the headphones as I am sending the unit to Africa where they have large speakers over there.

Also on my new Mac (latest) in 'Sound' I converted everything to output 'DDJ SR'. A message said, "No Sound output"

The Mac Book is running Serato DJ and the jog wheels work and I can start, and stop. I can negotiate around the music files and load them. Everything

is working except sound. Do unit all come with sound card. As I have seen when they are advertised, they say, "With Sound card>"

• channel gain within the software

• channel gain / trim on the hardware

• channel fader

• cross fader

• master level

If you have any of those down, the audio signal stops at that point. Many first-time users don't know about the channel gain on the hardware and wonder why there is no sound.

If you are without speakers (output), and you're wondering why you can't hear anything in your headphones, you may need to select the channel CUE (red button above the channel fader) in order to preview that channel.

Load a few tracks and it should behave normally.

@Ayron > I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking. I'm guessing those weren't your videos that you posted, but if you're having the same problem as the first video, the problem is you haven't loaded more than one track.

My suggestion is you check that you are also using the latest version of Serato DJ.

bom dia pulse eu meu problema e que eu quando tou a tocar piso a tecla cue do deck A ela funciona com o deck B depois ela fica totalmente descontrolada fica a piscar as luzes o que eu quero e que me ajude como eu resolver esse problema porque eu sou eu que tenho esse problema eu tava a ver na net sao muitos entao isso e um erro da pioneer ou firmware nao e compatible com o mid ....pesso ajuda amigo por favor

agora outro problema e fica toltalmente descontrolada basta eu pisar qualquer butao ele pisa outros butoes

I've just bought the Ddj sr, and every time I use it, after a while the sound cuts out of the master out then I have nothing at all, I have downloaded and re-installed the latest Asio Driver and I am currently using it with the latest version of Rekordbox Dj, when I run Serato Dj the sound output is fine with no issues at all, I also have a Ddj sx2 which is faultless and runs perfect, I have recently changed to Rekordbox Dj from Serato and I am relatively happy with it, but there is something wrong with the Asio driver software compatibility with Rekordbox Dj , and the Ddj sr,

please advise - thanks.

Fixed My DDJ-SR, no sound problem, it was the brand of USB cable that I was using, it worked ok for everything else except - sound!! it looks like that the SR is sensitive to communication carried from my P.C to the unit, Belkin cables were especially poor yet they are one of the market leaders? purchased 2 high quality cables off the internet, and now ok, with no issues at all !!!

I purchased a DDJ-SR, in September 2016 and in May 2017 the left channel fader when push up on the controller drops on the laptop, I'm using Virtual Dj. The software is up to date on the DDJ-SR.

I think pioneer should do a product recall on the ddj sr coz more people are getting the same issue, same with car company if they think it unsafe to drive my cause death on controller may lost thier job coz a fail controller
