New players or firmware for the 2000?

Defo new players,

look at the first 5 seconds of the video, its showing slip mode , loop mode

dosent look like a new cdj, maybe a controller/rmx device

Sick, it's a new player for sure.  It's not a controller - all the top jocks are testing it out.  They referred to it as a player and a deck.  The first few seconds show lots of the feature you will find on a CDJ, plus what looks like a whole new display.  Won't be a RMX device, they just brought one out.  Pretty much 3 years to the day since the CDJ-2000 was released.  CDJ-2000, step aside.

Logic, people - use it. :)

So you think new flagship players... Don't know if I like that idea so soon.. Damn I have to spend money again... A lot..

Should have known my CDJ's where going to be out of data soon. :( 

Hopefully this is a new product and not a replacement to the CDJ's.

I get the impression that people are forgetting what a 'controller' actually is, what one actually does - and doesn't - do, and what Pioneer lack and haven't even hinted at one iota of having, even in that video.

• Master button ?
• Rekordbox button ?

Ok ... i m exited to see what exactly are new features on this player ...

Not sure how I feel about 'sync' being part of the pro range... I'm sure there will be a healthy debate if it is included.

I don't really buy into the whole 'remix on the fly' scenario, I tend to buy tracks that are perfect as they are... still, i'm excited to see what will be announced later this week.

sync button-function will be the reason NOT to buy those players, no matter how good they are. I'm not a 15 year old "future dj" who needs crap stuff like sync.

Damn and.i just ordered a pair of cdjs 2000 and a djm 900 nexus

thinking about it this post is against the rules as we are not allowed to speculate then prompted by pioneer to do nothing but speculate for a week lol

I just spoke to my dealer and he is under the impression the 2ks will be discontinued and the new 2k nexus will be the same price as the current model and there is no price change!!

Gunna be the longest week ever!
