I believe that they are going to introduce it with the software update like they did in DJM-T1. I hope they do it!

AERO and Hotcues
Hi - I'm an S4 user who's moving towards Pioneer (just got my RMX1000 last month) and was very excited by the new AERO. I tried it at the weekend and despite having all the cash with me then to buy it I walked away as one feature I use a hell of a lot with Traktor wasn't in there, Hot Cues.
Loved that it was on the iphone app so am guessing it's to work with whatever gorgeous hi-end product you've been doing treaser videos for this weekend, but hotcues for me as a small club DJ who's always being bombarded with 'enthusiastic' (drunk!) people doing requests is kinda vital as so many times I have to jump on my setup and cue up a track in sometimes seconds before the next one is needed (either as it's a request, or the punter is an idiot who just won't leave me alone while I'm trying to work lol)
So it was with a heavy heart I left the AERO in the shop as tbh for everything else it was perfect for me. The mixer especially was incredible.
So, is there any way if you can let me know if hotcues may be available 'at some point' with re: a firmware update ? And if not, is there any way you'd consider somehow getting them in (maybe a shift with the 4 buttons above the jogwheel?)
If so I'll get one now. Not worried about timescale, but just need to know it'll be there at some point.

I'm not sure if you will be able to connect RMX1000. Better check it.

Thanks for the info Kubitsky. If they do have them in the pipeline that'd be the deal breaker for me I think. Find them massively useful for a variety of practical (and creative at times) reasons and they're the one thing that's holding me back from taking the plunge.
I'm not too worried about the lack of a S/R for using the RMX as I currently use it as a master output FX unit with my S4, and when I'm at the club they've got an old DJM 700 that I can patch in the Send Return for a bit more control/options.
Exciting times with this new AERO and (hopefully soon announced) other higher end gear.

Of course you can - simply connect the master output of the AERO to the input of the RMX, then the output of the RMX to your speakers or computer or whatever.

Hiya and cheers for the replys about the RMX1000 but tbh that's not an issue at all as like my S4 I'm planning to run it either as a master FX or via a S/R if access to an extra mixer.
It's the (lack of) hotcues and if there's (hopefully) going to be a firmware update that I'm hoping to find answers to. I need to replace my S4 soon and the AERO happily looks an excellent alternative/next step - except in for me its lacking hotcues (which is a bit of a shame as the iphone recordbox app does let you set them)
So am just hoping there may be someone in the know who can be able to give me an indication as if so I can get one tomorrow (and tbh would very much love to!)

Thanks Pulse. I guess its one of those things we're it's not possible to say either way - was just asking 'just in case' that this may have been confirmed somewhere.
This is my only reason for holding off getting one (and from the sounds of things qutie a few others feel the same way) so hoping at some point an announcement is made soon.
I def don't want to go down the controller route any more so guess will just start trying to save for CDJ2000Nexus models just in case :)
