[CLOSED] XDJ-R1 channel 2 stops working

Hi, my XDJ-R1 had a  problem with audio on channel 2. Random ( 3 times from June 2013 when I bought it) the audio completly goes mute both on out or headphones, pre and post fader. Only way to solve the issue is reboot, after I reboot the XDJ-R1 everything works fine. Firmware v1.08 tracks analyzed in Rekordbox and from cd, same problem. Here there is a video of the problem:

Please check the issue.

I would contact your retailer about bringing it for a look and possible repair/replace.

Hi! I contacted the Italian Customer service from Pioneer last week and they suggested me to update to the latest version of the software (v1.09). I hope it is enough because the problem is very difficult to reproduce.

@gavin if you need the support ID to check the issue on Pioneer internal support page tell me ;)

Thanks!

@Luca > The hardware engineer in charge of the XDJ-R1 has advised us to tell you to return the unit for repair or replacement as it doesn't appear this problem is software related.

To arrange returning your unit, please contact the retailer where you purchased it. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks a lot for the reply Gavin, I wrote to Italian assistance asking if is it possible to replace directly in the same time my old XDJ-R1 with a new one because I need it to work and I can't stay without it. The reference number is 14433 if you can help me with this issue to replace the hardware.. Thanks a lot for your support.

@Luca > Sorry but neither Jay nor Gavin nor I are Pioneer employees, and are thus unable to assist you in hardware replacement. I would encourage you to follow-up with them if you haven't heard back, or to contact the Pioneer Italy offices.
