XDJ R1 mixer mode still uses MIDI for level LEDs??!

Why? If I am using software for playout, that software is going to output at the sameish level for the whole set. The levels I need to see on the R1's LEDs are post mixer trim, not the levels the software is outputting straight to the controller!

Hi Joe,

 

This is also something that has bothered me too! there is no way of keeping the sound level equal throughout your set/night without post input trims VU meters. I never look at the ones in VDJ as they are not accurate enough.

I can understand when you use the R1 in internal mode with VDJ, but when being used in R1 mode it should revert back to being post trim. 

 

Pioneer - any comment maybe on changing this for future updates maybe?
