XDJ 1000 cracking while playing with Matser-Tempo activated

Hello everybody,

I realized a little cracking noise, when playing quiet mp3 files on XDJ 1000 with activated Master-Tempo.

Master-Tempo is set to zero, also no pitching. Happens on both of my players and only if Master Tempo

is activated. Happens in all cases, no matter which source (USB, rekordbox) or analyzed or not with

rekordbox. Deactivating of Master-Tempo solves the problem, no cracking!!!

Installed firmware is 1.04.

Someone here withe the same experience?

Sorry! There hasn't been as much chatter about the XDJ-1000 so my brain has been defaulting to the RX. ;)

Still, please post one of your files!

Hello,

here is a cut out of the mp3 file.

Listening to the first 10 seconds is still fair. Either put it in a loop or use the Track Search button. Cracking happens not at the same time or the same place in the file, sometimes you had to play it 20-times before it happens, upcoming is random!!!!!

use the following adjustments:

Set Mater Tempo, set pitch to zero, use vinyl, tempo range +-6%, firmware 1.04,

This morning a friend of mine confirmed the same manner on his two XDJ-1000!!!

It's only been 5 days, minus the weekend, but no, I haven't heard back yet.

The engineers continue to investigate this issue but don't have an estimated timeline for any updates. We thank you for your patience!

Completely different issue as the hardware has changed and the algorithm has been improved since then.

New firmware version 1.05 aval. seems that they fixed the bug, the agenda says:

Fixed an issue where a cracking noise may be heard when Master Tempo is activated.
