I'm looking into that for you, but it's my understanding that the RX may not have an input as the unit has built-in recording capabilities directly to a USB device.
Hi all,
i've recently purchased an XDJ-RX and updated it to firmware 1.50.
Tonight i tried to hook it up with the USB port on the back to my Mac so i could record/broadcast from it like i do with the DJM-900, but after installing the drivers it only shows the soundcard available under the Output sources, not the Input Sources.
I've attached a screenshot from it. I would expect it to show it under the input sources to record directly from it or am i missing something or doing something wrong in the setup?? I've tested it with the windows drivers (on a Win7 VM) but that showed the same result, no input device.
Anybody noticed the same?
Thanks!!

Hey Pulse, thanks for checking. Would be a damn shame if it's not possible for streaming options right?? ;-)
The rear USB port outputs audio from a computer or as a MIDI port so it won't record out from the RX. Idea for streaming will be noted.
Thanks for the update. Too bad though......... maybe something possible with a firmware update later??
So the answer is no, the RX is an output-only soundcard; recording is done via the onboard recording to USB device. Firmware will not update the hardware configuration.
