Unfortunately the RX doesn't support LINK in the same way as CDJs do; you could connect it to a rekordbox link to share from there, but not to or from the RX to other CDJs. Sorry!

S’abonnerxdj-rx as single deck on pro dj link?
Wondering if it was possible to pass this request, I'd like to connect the rx to my djm 2000 and use one deck of it as a third deck in the network, so to share the same USB drive for all of them, and have the synch work across all of the decks connected.

Hello,
So for what can you use the link?
I saw you can put you laptop with it and play or select a song from your laptop and load in the deck.
But can you also put a cdj 2000/nexus/900 with the link cable, and then play via the rca cable to the MIXER and just swithc to the phone line input of the xdj rx instead using the deck on the xdj?
so you can play and select a song on the cdj 2000 and just make the swicht on the xdj rx to phono line input and have on one side a working cdj. you only need to switch to deck 1/2 again if you want to play from on of the decks of the xdj?
The LINK on the RX is ONLY for linking to rekordbox on your computer or a router with WiFi to connect rekordbox mobile. It can not exchange LINK data with other CDJs or DJMs.
Oh oke, will that come to the rx that you also can share your usb data? will be handy becouse the xdj rx does not have a cd player.
if possible would be great.
And any new about the new firmware update not the 1.50 but the next one when is coming?
So if you're looking to receive audio from a CD player, you would simply connect the line-out from that player to the RCA line-in on the back of the RX. Make sure it's in LINE mode and not PHONO (which is for turntables). An alternative to carrying around an extra player would be if your laptop has an optical drive, you could always rip the track needed from the CD, import it to rekordbox on your laptop then use the LINK to load it to one of the decks.
Will the link on the RX allow to sync with Toreiz Sp16? Any other way to send BPM to external gear (midi over usb?) without any computer?
@Dave > Yes.
so it can send midi? i've opened a new thread for this where you can reply. thanks
@Dave > No, not MIDI. The SP16 will utilize the LINK feature to sync via ethernet cable. It will be able to link with almost all Pioneer DJ products that feature an ethernet port for linking.
the SP16 would then be able to sync other gear midi though I presume. shame that midi is not more implemented on pioneer gear I reckon
