[SOLVED] DDJ Ergo K not working well with Traktor Pro 2. Why?

In all honesty, it only sounds like a simple mapping issue.

I have the exact same problem with DDJ Ergo K and Traktor 2.5.1

Followed all the steps correctly but no improvement

@Agent-Kol > Are all your drivers etc up to date? Have you tried manually mapping the player to the software?

I have Firmware V 1.2 and downloaded all the drivers from NI for Traktor. Using my new Macbook Pro.

How do I manually map the player to the software ?

I just had to download the setting file from the ergo v so working perfectly now

For future refence maybe just also put a download for the Traktor setting file tsi in the DDJ ERGO K download folder on the pioneer website also and include in the manual. Cheers

I just got the Pioneer DDJ ERGO-K Limited Edition, however, V-DJ is not working at all. Not even Serato Inro. It says 'hardware disconnected'. It's only working on Traktor, however, I have the same problem with the Samplers and Hot Cues, I can't use them. What can I do? How can I use it with V-DJ? I just bought the latest VDJ online and I updated my firmware to the latest, and still not working.. What can I do??? I'm using Mac?

Έχω τα windows 7 home που είναι 64bit και το προγραμμα traktor pro

Το ergo παίζει στα windows 7 home 64bit??

There shouldn't be any problem running Windows 7 64-bit.

Συνδέω το ergo k στο laptop και δεν το βλέπει καθόλου ούτε ήχο ούτε mapping

@giannis > Does the controller actually light up when you connect it with the power cable and the USB cable? If it doesn't power up, have you tried swapping the cables? Has it ever worked for you? When did you buy the unit?

Once connected, do you then open up Traktor and run the setup wizard? The MIDI mapping file for Traktor is available at the above link.

i had the same problems 

so i have installed the traktor pro v2.1.1 version and all the buttons and scratchs works

but for me sometimes (and it's an other problem said in an other topic) : it freeze, i mean the music continue but the ddj don't respond and don't command the software, it only work (sometimes) with the mouse..

4Gb of RAM

OS: windows vista basic family edition (i don't know how to say it in english maybe it's "home edition") Service Pack2 (32bits)

So, I've bought new DDJ-Ergo-K and I have put everything to work on the Traktor Scratch Pro and it works perfectly fine, there is just one slight problem. When I try to pitch the track up, the pitch fader doesn't respond. It's like dead, I have to first pitch down over the 0 point and back up so it works. Even the ctrl light in the traktor program (left of the hour) isn't blinking, until I cross the zero point, so I guess it is some kind of a driver problem?

I have upgraded firmware to 1.20 and the software driver to 1.1, so I would be very grateful if you could help me with that issue.

it work only on :  traktor pro v2.1.1 

(with last driver and firmware for ddj ergo: that goes without saying)

It works perfectly, just that small issue is what is bothering me. Could be a small bug in drivers.

I am using Traktor Sctratch Pro 2.6, and the midi file I cannot find on the link above

No, we didn't came to an understanding :) On the link you gave me I can find three links, one to the NI page and two .pdf files, I can't find the mapping file on that link.

I got the same problem like Ziga! When i mix up some tracks using the sync function then stopping one track and put off the sync buttons the pitch fader doesn`t respond! I have to go down with the pitch fader und the zero point and then up again to get a use from it again, its like dead before i do this! It´s a really bad problem for such an expensive toy! Pioneer help me out please it´s like hell if it happens in the club while making music for the masses! :-(

hi guys, i have a big problem.. i bought the pioneer ddj ergo k yesterday and it doesnt run til now.

i installed the traktor le 2 software and the pioneer drivers like in the description.

also made all the updates of the pioneer page and the ni service center.

Pioner DDJ Asio is my audio device, the track runs but only very, very, very slow like one second of the song in 10 seconds. and there is comming no sound.

Output master: master 1+2

Output monitor: phones 3+4   (like in description)

if i turn my soundcard Realtek HD audio as audio device i get a sound trough my boxes, but not trough the headphones.

also tried to start it with asio 4 all as audio device. (the song didn´t almost start!)

Please give me some help! sitting for 5 hours now..
