[SOLVED] DDJ-SX native to VirtualDJ

Hey I was just wondering if the DDJ-SX will become native to VirtualDJ

Its a Serato branded unit so, while it is MIDI capable and can be mapped to other software, its highly unlikely to happen.

there is a mapper available to download on virtualdj.com for registered users

@Gavin ok thanks, @Taff I have the mapper but the LEDs on the jog wheels do not respond properly sometimes they stop spining and they and do not stay in the correct track position

That will be because the mapper is MIDI and Not HID.

Ooh, you wouldnt happen to know how to switch it HID would you I know VDJ supports HID. Or is it even possible

Only Pioneer can open it up for other software to map it in HID but I don't think that will ever happen as its a Serato branded controller and they probably spent a lot of money for that. Think of it like the S4 and S2 with Traktor.

The SX works great with Virtual DJ.  Just have to change the SX to other controllers, like what is explained in the manual to make it function correctly.

@Lo End > As Taff correctly points out, its a Serato branded unit so full functionality can only be expected with Serato software.
