CDJ800mk1 track search broken

I recently acquired a cdj800mk1 from a local dj, and stupidly, I didn't test the unit as thoroughly as I should have. I have discovered that I cannot track search forwards. All it does is start playing the track. If I use the backwards track search button, it works fine, but that's obviously a bit more annoying than using the forwards one. Any idea what problem this is/if there's a fix for it? Any help is appreciated <3 Will post video if needed
