I've had all my music put through the older rekordbox 3 using usb etc and have all the playlists saved etc so I've a new macbook air and the new ddj rx and i plug the flash drive into the laptop and it shows up in export but when i switch to performance mode to use the ddj rx it doesn't even show up, also I'm trying to transfer the music into the new version and its showing each track twice and not reading that they are in folders and playlists, please help

@jasonbusteed it will not show in performance mode, you need to export to usb only on export mode, it is also better to analyse in that mode. You need to export your library to Rekordbox preparation mode it is the only way it will show on performing mode. not expert but it is in my experience :)
@jason > As @Vittoria said, you need to be in EXPORT mode to transfer music to your USB drive. You can NOT use the music on an export USB drive to play in PERFORMANCE mode, it must be located in your collection in order to play.
I'm not sure why you have duplicates unless you have imported a duplicate copy of the song from another location. Have you enabled the "location" column to verify this?
It is realy a shame that you can't play back you're exported reckordbox usb stick in performence mode like a cdj...
