DJM S9 DRIVER UPDATE for MAC El Capitan 10.11.2

did you uninstall the old driver first.......

uninstall old then install new

The new driver does not exist on the PIONEER HP !

or maybe I dont find it...

The S9 driver v1.1.1 is the current driver.

... the v1.1.1 driver is the current, i know.

but the "OS X El Capitan 10.11.2" don´t work with it!

only the "OS X El Capitan 10.11.1" work with the last Driver Update (v1.1.1).

i´ve tried it!

there must come a new update out for the  "OS X El Capitan 10.11.2"....

I have OS X El Capitan 10.11.2" on my mac and i can't get my mixer to work either with the (v1.1.1) update been trying for 3 days now it keeps saying error communicating with device please ensure device drivers are installed heeeelllp! i'am going crazy

This is not an issue caused by updating to El Capitan 10.11.2, but it is an issue caused by Serato DJ 1.8, which has not supported any versions of El Capitan yet.
El Capitan will be officially supported by the next update of Serato DJ1.8.1.

Please use Serato DJ 1.8.1 Public Beta or wait for the official release of SeratoDJ 1.8.1.

"We have bundled the Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11 specific drivers for the Pioneer DJM-850, DJM-900NXS, DJM-900SRT and DJM-S9 into Serato DJ as well as the already bundled DDJ-SZ driver.

Note: If you use these devices on an older OS please remain on your current driver."

The problem is the same... 

i can't start the Driver Program

for the PIONEER S9 MIXER , to chance the CHANEL A & B FROM LINE to PHONO !!!

THE SERATO DJ PROGRAM WAS NOT THE PROBLEM!

THE PROBLEM WAS THE "DJM S9 DRIVER FOR MAC EL CAPITAN"

Ya well EL Capitan is not fully supported by Serato and they say specifically on their website not to update to El Capitan with an S9. You are just going to have to wait it out for Serato DJ. Your stuck using it as a normal mixer for the time being.... Hence me not updating my OSX until I am 100% sure everything is made to work with the new OS. 

@Alastair > Actually, as of version 1.8.1, it is supported using the latest firmware and drivers for El Capitan.

I'm not getting this to work fully.  Mixer functions will talk to Serato, but the mixer's screen states "Serato DJ not connected".  Also, names for Serato effects don't appear on the mixer anymore, such as echo out or combo fade echo out.  Most likely lack of Pioneer driver for El Capitan 10.11.2.  If there is a fix, help would be greatly appreciated.

After following the instructions to uninstall all drivers for yosemite and El Capitain 10.11.2, then install the driver provided by Serato Dj 1.8.1, the Pioneer Utility will open up from Serato DJ and independently of Serato.  However, when the DJM S9 is connected Serato, the mixer continues to state "Please Connect to Serato DJ".  The Serato effects do not appear in the screen, though appear to work functionally from the device with the level depth knob and toggle switches.

Engineers would like to ask you some questions.

　・ Are the decks of Serato DJ are shown and input played music to DJM-S9?

　・ Do FXs on Serato DJ work normally when applying them except the display on DJM-S9?
　・ Do you use the USB cable included in the S9 box and directly connect to the computer? (Don't you use a extension cable or a USB hub? 
　・ Do you select USB port (USB A or B) in the Input select of DJM-S9?

Would you please test the followings?
　・ If you select a different FX on Serato DJ, does the display on DJM-S9 change accordingly? 
　・ If you press the 4 kinds of PAD mode selection buttons, does the display on DJM-S9 change? 
　・ If you change the USB cable or USB port (USB A or B), do you see any difference? 
　・ Do you see any difference when you connect and disconnect the USB cable? 
　　Please reconnect the USB cable after the decks are disabled.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having. I updated my OSX/ Serato/ DJM S9 last night pretty much in this order and the mixer and software work as they should. 

Update to most recent El Capitan

Uninstall old driver per the uninstall directions and deleted the pioneer folder out of applications. 

Download and install new driver from pioneer website. 

Update my serato software

Restarted my computer and tested and everything seemed fine, not experiencing the issues you are.

I am back online, thanks!  The fix appears to be to touch one of the pad buttons after mixer startup, roll and slicer worked for me, then the Serato effects appear on the beat effect screen, instead of "Please Connect to Serato DJ."  Firmware 1.04 I used the FX1 or FX2 to verify communication between the mixer and laptop. No big deal with respect to 1.05. Thank you Pioneer Engineers and comments from posters.
