restore library from external device

My macbook air containing my rekorbox library has died and cannot be recovered.  I would like to restore my rekorbox library onto a different computer (windows) from my export device, which already has rekordbox installed and already contains a very small portion of the tracks and playlists from my usb stick.  I am familiar with how to import playslists and copy the files to a new computer.  However, when I plug in my usb into the windows computer, rekordbox shows only a few of the many playlists on the device, and those playlists are incomplete.  When I plug the usb device into my controller, all the playlists and tracks are there.  Why can't I see them on my windows computer in rekorbox?
