DDJ-SZ Phono Overdriven Signal

Hi All,

maybe im missing something but when I connect a regular turntable to the phono in on my unit it sound like the signal is already too hot. even with the trim down it sounds overdriven.

any thoughts?

What kind of turntable are you using?

The back of those turntables has a PHONO/LINE switch - be sure it's set to PHONO if you are using the PHONO connection on your SZ, otherwise you're sending 1V where the input is expecting about 0.1V.
