Pause button does not work on the R1?

Hello,

Hate to start off on a bad note but I'm pretty unimpressed with the R1.

No wave form and doesn't work with Pioneer DJ?

The main issue I have is the play & pause button on deck two acts differently to deck 1, it does not paused but stutters?

Can anyone please advise?

Regards

Lee

Sorted, just turned on vinyl mode!

Can we please have a wave mode?

@Lee > The XDJ-R1 is 3 years old.  It's hardware has limitations in regards to certain updates and feature expansion.  The rekordbox website clearly states that the XDJ-R1 is not supported by rekordbox dj.  Unfortunately, I don't think the XDJ-R1 is the correct product for your needs.  It seems like you would be better suited for an XDJ-RX or DDJ-RX.

Hi Mark,

Many thanks for your reply and thanks for pointing out the short falls of this product.

@Lee > There is nothing wrong with the product.  The XDJ-R1 works exactly as advertised.

Mark, am I the only one calling for these changes?

Please don't get me started on the advertising of this product!

More of what it can't do would help.

@Lee > No manufacturer is going to advertise what a product CAN NOT do.  It is your job as a consumer to research the product before purchasing it to determine whether the product suits all your specific needs.  I'm sorry you are unhappy with the XDJ-R1.  You can contact your retailer to inquire about a refund or exchange.  We have different products that would perfectly suit your needs, but the XDJ-R1 is clearly not the correct product for you.

I'm closing this thread for comments, as your original question has been answered.
