Latest firmware update messes up the ddj rx

i installed last update a couple days ago.

Recorded a livemix and the liveset is missing some seconds because of buffering.

Anybody else got this?

@Angelo > That's not likely due to the firmware update. Try this to see if a reset helps:

1. Disconnect the USB from the RX
2. Turn on the power of RX while pressing [SHIFT] button on the left deck and [DECK 1] button at the same time. 
3. Wait for about 5 seconds.
4. Press the [SYNC] button on the both decks for 3 seconds.

When the [SYNC] buttons' LED is turned off, reconnect the USB and launch rekordbox to see if the situation is resolved.

Did this fix your issue with the new firmware? I have a DDJ-RZ and am scared to upgrade to teh new firmware for fear of bricking it or introducing more bugs.

@Harry > The fix above is ONLY for the RX, and has nothing to do with the firmware.

The new firmware update procedures ensure that the RZ can't be bricked unless you suffer a power-outage during the update.
