Sound quality XDJ 700 ? DAC etc..

Hi all

I'm wondering if anyone knows what DAC the XDJ 700 uses and if it compares to the quality of any of the CDJ range?

Same as the XDJ-1000, not quite the same quality as that of the CDJ-2000 series, but likely similar to the CDJ-900 series. Sorry I don't have exact specs.

I cannot confirm that the XDJ 1000 mk1 or mk2 use this DAC.

The CDJ-900 uses a 24/48 Wolfson, same as the CDJ-1000mk3.  CDJ-2000 uses a slightly higher model Wolfson.  The later CDJ-2000s use AKM.  The tour uses an ESS.

@Pioneer - would you be able to transplant (upgrade) the XDJ700 DAC to a

ESS Technologies DAC (ES9018)?
