ok have narrowed it down a bit quicker

after turning mixer off

open rekordbox

change audio setting preference to a different source wait few seconds until updates then change back not perfect but it works and is quicker than my previous experiment

have also noticed that my ableton push doesnt respond unless i unplug the usb from mixer , seems like another conflict, been tinkering with this mixer now for over a week id really like to be able to hook it up correctly and be able to just play record when i feel th urge

Do you have all the latest system updates and service packs installed?

Have you tried using another USB port, or even another computer?

The ticket system isn't for non-rekordbox support requests. That's what we're here for.

When you find it's not working properly, if you open the Setting Utility, does it show your mixer as connected or not?

Have you tried a different USB cable / port on your computer?

I have tried three different cables
I have also used different usb ports originally had it in usb3 port that failed totally
It says connected both ways unlike when it was on usb3
My workaround is ok for recording, by opening rekordbox opening audio then changing to different sound source and back again
But if I want to use ableton with push at the same time I have to use line in, but I can't use two different sounds cards, hope that makes sense

Just trying to gather some information...

So if you start your computer, connect or power-up the DJM, launch your application, you can't get sound out of it? Are you trying to output system sounds or application sounds?

You say the mixer shows it's connected within the setting utility, is it showing within the Windows system device manager?

I use my pc for Youtubeb etc
I also run ableton so would like to hear the sound from push through my mixer whilst using my cdjs :-) not worried about midi. I can use line in but was hoping for a digital usb signal? Or am I expecting to much from the usb connectivity

Seem to have sorted out issues
I've installed the asio 4 you drivers and use this for the majority of settings now I still have to have the pioneer driver installed and is configured for the recording only
