which mixer do you have, some you can send the left and set the mixer to mono

XLR Right and Left Out
Pulse, I have been meaning to ask this for quite some time now. Occasionally I DJ with a band where I plug into their Board. They only want One out. I tell them I have a Right and Left channel and its like talking Japanese. I know what they want but i really dont know what or how to do it???? Any ideas...
