Opus Quad questions

Hello, in the Opus Quad presentation I saw that you can connect to the usb C port with a mobile device, I didn't manage to connect with an iPhone, so is it possible or not?
Secondly, it is said that you can connect an external ssd drive but how do you search through it because Opus Quad only shows you the songs from it but you can't search and then what's the point of connecting an ssd with thousands and thousands of songs if you can't looking for a certain song?!

1. Opus Quad from what i read only works via ethernet to lighting adapters, not sure if it works USB-C.

2. sounds like you did not convert the library to Library "plus" so the opus cannot read the database, its just looking at the folders on your flash drive. Read the FAQ here to learn how to

https://rekordbox.com/en/support/faq/devicelibraryplus-6/

In EXPORT mode, click [Preferences] > [DJ System], and [Device Library] to configure the following settings.

  • If using OPUS-QUAD as well as CDJ/XDJ

Select [Device Library Plus (OPUS-QUAD ONLY)] and [Device Library].

  • If using only OPUS-QUAD (when DJ equipment other than OPUS-QUAD is not used)

Select [Device Library Plus (OPUS-QUAD ONLY)].

Unselect [Device Library].

I think I didn't understand myself well... There is a video clip on YouTube from Pioneer itself that explains all the ports on the Opus Quad and says that the USB C port is for laptops and mobile devices. Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/shorts/OuR4fA72Wm0

Second, Opus quad sees my ssd with all the songs on it, but you can't search for a song from it, for example how do I search for a song with Michael Jackson that is on the ssd?
I selected [Device Library Plus (OPUS-QUAD ONLY)].

ok then not sure why it is not working, i personally wouldn't use it sop i never tested

did you plug in the flash drive and see the conversion done? on the flash drive when plugged into rekordbox you should see under it the Library Plus library,,

you should see this in RB under the device

you search by pressing the browse button on top left and then the magnifying glass

Everything is like in your picture, except that when I insert a 1TB ssd, it doesn't see any of my songs

Ok, in the end it's not that important that Opus Quad doesn't read 1TB SSD....although the manufacturer says it can do this....
In the video I have attached, Pioneer says that a mobile device can be connected to the Opus Quad. I didn't succeed, so is it possible or not?
I spent a lot of money on a controller that does not do what Pioneer says in the presentation....

the OQ definitely reads 1TB and more, I have used both a 1TB and 2TB with 80,000 tracks and hundreds of playlists with no issues whatsoever

Can you record a good detailed video from beginning to end of what you are doing and seeing so we can see what's going on?

Phone connectivity is possible also, I have tested I believe over wifi, I have to try again and see how I did it, it was months ago so I don't remember 100%

Bit Late to the party here but I'm trying to set up an ssd drive its saying it's 3.63tb so i'm assuming it's a 4tb ssd drive. How do i format it to work with device library plus. There's no option in the dropdown menu?
