Are the XDJ-700s capable of being used with Serato DJ Pro in HID mode

Are the XDJ-700s capable of being used with Serato DJ Pro in HID mode connected through a DJM-S7? The S7 has hardware unlock of course and it works just fine, but I cannot get Serato DJ Pro to recognize the XDJ-700s. When I press the link on either player, it asks me to push the encoder to select "control mode." Once I do that it will not go any further. I cannot find any documentation, YouTube videos, or forum posts on this subject. Also, Serato does not show it as a supported device. This makes me think that these are not supported Serato DJ Pro accessories. They do work just fine with Rekordbox DJ connected in this same manner. Any help you can provide on this is much appreciated. Thank you.
