CDJ 3000 not listed under devices

thanks for the reply. This allows me to add a column but I can't order the columns on the CDJ 3000 screen. Can I put the columns in any order that I want? I am trying to remove the key column and replace it with another useful column that i actually need. I read somewhere that the cdj 3000 should show under devices and then you should be able to right click on it and change the order but my cdj's never show up in the devices list in rekordbox.

if the unit is not showing in devices maybe it needs to be connected another way? try plugging in via USB 

I plugged the cdj 3000 directly into my macbook, allowed the device to connect and it is still not recognized in rekordbox as a device. Not sure what is going on. Thanks for your assistance.

I am having the same problem, and it makes ZERO sense. I tried connecting the CDJ via a USB hub since I didn't have a direct connection to my Mac. It didn't work, So,,,I just bought a brand new USB-A to USB-C to hook directly from my mac to CDJ. Still nothing! So frustrating, I'm trying to do the same thing, add a genre column on my CDJ screen, not in Rekrodbox. I'm running Sonoma 14.6.1 - this seems like a pretty basic need and connection. I hope someone can help soon!
