DDJ-1000 is a plastic Box?

Disappoint that the controller is only plastic and not aluminium like the other Controllers sx, sx2, rx
The casing is extremely scratch-sensitiv.
Any posibilty to buy an aluminium or protect skin?

I'll point out that the CDJ-2000's are plastic.
