Rekordbox Interface 2 thru mode?

Hey.

Was considering buying the Interface 2, but unsure how does the Thru mode work in the software? If I were to play vinyl mid set, especially when listening/jamming at home.

The manual says you have to open up the setting utility program to set the audio output to Thru. Is that so?
