DDJ-SZ driver installation failed (002)

Running off Win7 64bit 8gb ram 1tb hdd with Serato. Tried installing the drivers automatically, no dice. Tried downloading them from the website, no dice. ran as admin, still nothing. Ran in compatibility mode, still dead in the water. Went into add/remove programs to make sure a corrupted driver installation wasn't in there, restarted and tried it all again. I have an SX2 that works flawless, im out of ideas...

Is your Windows 7 installation fully updated and patched? It's likely that you don't have all the updates installed and the driver signing isn't matching the certificate from the registry with the certificate on the drivers as there was a change from "Pioneer Electronics" to "Pioneer DJ." With a mismatch, you can't necessarily install the drivers. You could bypass the driver signing, but then there's a chance you'll need to install them again after a reboot, so you're better off updating.

Hi there
I'm using a DDJ SZ . My computer/ asio utility is not recognizing the port A on the DDJ SZ. When I use the the port B everything is fine but I can't do any updates as we can only do so from the port A. Can you help.

Hi I seem to have the same issue and I updated my driver's and updated the latest version of serato djpro and I get the message that usb not updated /erra 002 using DDJ Sz2, windows 7. Seems like a USB 2.0 problem before last week I plugged in and played with no problem. Any suggestions would be great appreciated.

Right-click and Run as Administrator.
