A real all-in-one

Why can't humans do this: All-in-one stand alone DDJ with 12" motorized platters.

We could but...

- it would be way too big

- it would be incredibly heavy

- there are far too many things going on

- there are far too many things that could go wrong

- the cost would be astronomical

- I cringe just imagining using something like that.

Pulse you have a point. I realize this kind of all-in-one might have been too ambitious.

A cdj type upgrade would have been more reasonable.

Now the new denon sc5000m is 5 inches short of perfect. As to why they didn't just go all the way is beyond me.

7" is pointless.

rane 12 aaaaaaalmost got it right, but just like the others is a slave of external computer.

I hope Pioneer will seriously address this situation and come up with what consumers for decades have been whining about, otherwise some other brand eventually will, and if that happens, the moniker "club standard" title will be bestowed on them.

No, less is more. That is why I liked the DDJ-1000 over the RZX, RZ, and RR.

Ves, I hope you don't take back what you said. If less is more, then I'm pretty sure you will like the DJ2GO2 over the 1000 am I right? I'm sure people like you can ssssskillfuly scratch with expression using this in any kind of event. So cute :)

For portability it is.

But if you look at how packed it its with buttons, you can't say it's less, just in size but not in the amount of buttons ;)
