Mac wasn't playing sound through ddjrz output, just through laptop, then I saw warning that the pioneer sound would be blocked, so I followed instructions and allowed pioneer, was then prompted for restart. Mac now gets stuck on start up bar and just sits there.
Machine was working fine before and I only use it for music.

Not happy as I only just got this Mac today.
I'm not sure that's necessarily related to allowing the permissions, but I'll direct you to please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will be able to gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.
