
Have you considered adjusting the input audio level so the sample's recorded volume is higher?
The ability to 'Normalize' a sampled sound in the DJs-1000 sampler would be very useful. As it is now, the incoming sampled sound is always noticeably lower. The use of compression to raise the volume is not always ideal.

Yes, but my concern is that I literally have to peak or "redline" the INPUT source. Is that normal? I tried using different INPUT sources (Rane 72, Roland DJ-808) but the results are still the same. TUBBE DIGGA has a video out on the DJS-1000 where he mentions the low sampling volume as well. The link is below:

I agree "normalise" as in de machine of native instruments is a missing feature. Also a reverb effect in the FX section.
